Addictive and enthralling strategy game
The real-time strategy game Takeover is designed with the idea of seizing from one empire and adding to another. Its background includes the recapturing of the Rivadis Empire from the Necromancers, which the former held for centuries, and is thus based on defending the empire’s ownership.
The gameplay involves commanding the warfare squad units to protect the stronghold turf that the enemies have attacked. Players can win by seizing the enemy buildings. The empire consists of three nations plus one from the Necromancers that need to be defended or seized back. There are different squad types that need to be controlled and three spells for each nation.
The browser game is played with edicts, better known as upgrades, which allow the gamer to play the game with deadly attacks and seizes. Each nation in the game has to qualify for eight levels to win. You get access to a tutorial to play the first two levels of the game and need to carry on with the remaining by yourself. You can play the game singularly but the multiplayer mode can be more fun to explore.
